The above statement is a spiritual law of nature. If we are not actively seeking the good (peace, love, abundance), we will be carried down by the gravity and darkness of the world (chaos, hate, lack). If we do not identify with a thought system based on love, we will be taken over by a thought system based on fear. If we do not dedicate each day to something wonderful, we will end each day feeling awful.

I have learned so much as a teacher in a Multicultural Counseling class for the past six years. One thing we learn in the class is that in order to develop a white non-racist identity, you have to be actively walking at the opposite direction of racism. I look at racism and prejudice as a sort of spiritual darkness that one might find him/herself in if he/she is not actively dedicating him/herself to some sort of spiritual light.
A lot of people right now might be asking themselves what they can do to fight or speak out more against racism. It feels overwhelming. I have been there and can still take a trip there now and again, (even after teaching this stuff for six years), so I totally relate.
In my video, I talk about how to dedicate yourself to the light. It is not as overwhelming or complicated as you think. The EGO (the part of your mind that “edges God out”) complicates everything. It is time to make it simple. <3
